i'm an experience designer, artist, writer, researcher, filmmaker, and developer interested in how stories from the past shape the present and future.
particularly, i'm interested in how information gets augmented or buried with technology. i've worked with everything from bookbinding and archival work to film to game, UI, and web development.
i've read extensively on the history of computing and artificial intelligence in the cmu archives.
my recent obsessions are learning to make music, watching improv, and finding obscure spots to go to. some of my favorites are the baynerhof museum, prelinger library, and the angel island immigration station.
